What this is

The STR Ledger publishes Excel workbooks and PDF guides for short-term rental operators. Schedule E-ready bookkeeping. Turnover ops. Pricing math. Acquisition underwriting. Built for hosts who run 3-10 properties as a real business — not a hobby.

Why this exists

QuickBooks doesn't understand cleaning fees. Generic tax software doesn't understand a Schedule E with cost segregation. AirDNA is a market data tool, not a bookkeeping system. The Ledger fills the gap between "spreadsheet you cobbled together" and "enterprise PMS you don't need."

It's built by Daniel Harrison, who hosts short-term rentals and got tired of rebuilding the same spreadsheets every tax season. Every workbook here started as one we ran on our own portfolio before it ever went on sale.

How we make money
